Buying checklist
Billo and GaaS: evaluation checklist
Who owns the creator brief, usage rights, revisions, deadlines, and delivery of the approved advertising asset?
This is a buyer's checklist, not a hands-on product review or a verified feature comparison. GaaS is the commercial publisher. Check current capabilities, pricing, and terms directly with each provider before deciding.
Start with the work you need done
Describe one actual task, its inputs, the person who owns it, and the accepted output. Then test the same task in each proposed workflow. A production tool, an advertising network, a customer system, and an operator can occupy different parts of the process; compare the responsibility you need rather than expecting every product to replace the entire stack.
For Billo, use its current documentation and a scoped trial to establish what your plan includes. Ask GaaS to demonstrate its own supported scope in the same way. Do not infer live functionality or an integration from a category label.
Questions for this workflow
Check 1
Define who supplies the script, product experience, performance, and supporting evidence for any claim. A format that resembles a testimonial still needs truthful content.
Check 2
Agree on usage, revisions, delivery dates, and required files. Keep approvals attached to the final asset version that will enter advertising.
Check 3
Separate creative quality from advertising impact. Use an interpretable test to decide whether the approved asset improves the outcome you chose.
Collect evidence before choosing
Keep the original brief, generated or configured output, review notes, permissions, execution receipt where relevant, and final accepted result. Record failures and manual interventions as well as successful runs. Mark an untested capability as unknown, and distinguish a roadmap promise from something available in the account you evaluated.
Calculate total workflow cost from subscription, usage, setup, review, correction, and handoff effort. Use your actual plan and workload; a headline price does not establish the cost of a usable deliverable. If the objective is advertising performance, agree on mature measurement and a suitable comparison before attributing a change to the software.
