Paid campaign launch checklist

Give a campaign a clear release decision. This checklist follows a visitor from the ad promise to the accepted business outcome, then checks the settings and operating owners that make the launch controllable.

How to use the template

Review the actual release candidate

Record the campaign and asset version so the reviewer is looking at what will launch. Recheck the final destination after redirects and tracking templates are applied. A correct draft URL does not establish that the live ad will send visitors there.

Separate readiness from approval

Use the finding field to describe what you observed and the owner field to identify who resolves it. Suggested statuses are not reviewed, evidence missing, action needed and verified. A row marked verified means that check passed; it does not approve the entire campaign or authorize a larger budget.

Trace the customer outcome

Test the visitor path through the intended business endpoint in an authorized environment. Distinguish a button click, a browser event, a server-accepted inquiry and a sales-qualified outcome. They are different stages. Record a receipt or safe reference so someone else can verify the conclusion.

Inspect the result after release

Assign a short operational review after the campaign becomes active. Check status, final destination, measurement delivery and initial spend against the approved scope. Evaluate performance only after enough compatible outcomes mature; early technical checks establish operation, not profitability.

Worked review example

Illustrative launch: an ad promises a booking, but the page only submits a request that staff must confirm. The form works and the pixel fires, yet the promise is inconsistent with the customer experience.

Record the mismatch and assign the offer owner. Update the approved wording or the actual workflow, verify the final destination, and then record the release decision. Do not mark the issue complete merely because the ad passed platform review.

What this template does and does not establish

This is a campaign QA worksheet, not a platform upload file or certification. Adapt checks to the campaign type and your release permissions. Completing the worksheet does not publish a campaign or establish later performance.
